Denver 19th for real estate searches at

The Denver area ranked 19th out of 146 markets nationwide in online searches for real estate listings at in both March and April, ahead of New York, Houston and Washington, D.C., the website of the National Association of Realtors, offers listings of homes for sale in all 50 states culled from more than 800 local multiple listing service databases.

The website said the median list price for homes in the Denver market in April was $249,900, up 4.17 percent from March but down 0.04 percent from April 2010.

The most-searched market on’s list for April is Chicago, followed by Detroit, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Tampa-St. Petersburg, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Dallas and Orlando.

Colorado Springs ranks No. 57, Boulder-Longmont No. 105, Fort Collins-Loveland No. 124 and Pueblo No. 145.
