Denver metro home rental market has few vacancies

In Q4 2012, vacancies in for-rent townhouses, single-family homes, and other small properties across metro Denver fell to 1.7%.  The metro-wide vacancy rate was down from 2011’s Q4 rate of 2.1%, and down from 2012’s third quarter rate of 2.3%.  The lowest vacancy rates were found in Jefferson and Douglas counties where the vacancy rates were 1.3% and 1.2%, respectively.  The average rent in metro Denver for single-family rentals and similar properties rose to $1,083 for the fourth quarter of 2012.
