Sellers still missing ingredient in Denver home market



Metro Denver’s housing market started this year with fewer homes for sale than last year, despite a sharp slow down in the fourth quarter that should have boosted supply.  Metro Denver started the year with a 2.2- month supply of homes available for sale, down from a super-tight 2.8 months a year ago.  Six months is considered a balanced market. For homes priced under $100,000, the inventory is measured in days, not months.
