Low-inventory pain in Colorado real estate market is far from over, report shows

Houzz-1Just one month after real estate brokers had fleeting hope that the metro Denver residential inventory problem might finally ease up, Metrolist’s June report revealed that new listings dropped 4% from May. And new single-family home listings saw a 3% year-over-year decrease. The supply of inventory is just seven weeks’ worth. Home sales continued their lofty ascent, with sold properties rising 9% in June from the previous month. Homes sold on average at $335,275 – up 5% from a year ago.
